Berry Crumble Bars
Shortbread Crust
1 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/8 Teaspoon Salt
10 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
1 Lare Egg Yolk
1 Tablespoon Cold Water
Filling
2 Cups Fresh Berries
2 Tablespoons Lime Juice
2 Tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/4 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Shortbread Crust and Crumble
Preheat oven to 375. Grease a 8"x8" pan or 8" pie pan.
Whisk together flour sugar, baking powder and salt.
Cut in the butter usind a pastry cutter or 2 forks until crumbly.
Press 1/2 of the crumble into the pan.
Filling
Stir all ingredients together until well mixed.
Pour into the pan.
Sprinke the remaining crumble over berry filling.
Bake 30-38 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool before cutting - trust me it's worth the wait.
